STAGES AND DEVELOPMENT DIRECTIONS OF UZBEKISTAN TERMINOLOGY

The article analyzes the stages of formation and development directions of Uzbek terminology from a historical and linguistic point of view. The social, linguistic and normative aspects of term creation are considered on the example of the Jadid era, the Soviet era and the post-independence period. The study covers the activities of enlighteners such as Fitrat, Cholpon, and Qodiriy, the influence of the Russian language during the Soviet era, and the processes of national standardization of Uzbek terminology after independence on a scientific basis. The article shows the interrelationship of national revival, state policy, and technical progress in the continuous development of terminology, and practical suggestions are given.
