This study examines the role of teachers in the educational process, the key factors influencing their professional performance, and the significance of the TALIS international survey in evaluating pedagogical practices. The findings show that teacher effectiveness is shaped not only by instructional methods but also by deeper internal processes such as professional support, collaborative culture, leadership style, and digital competence. The study also reveals that teachers who actively participate in professional networks demonstrate higher lesson quality, adaptability, and motivation. TALIS provides a reliable international framework for identifying strengths and weaknesses within the educational process and for evaluating teacher performance systematically.
